Our visit to the Spring Fair 2023

Over the past few weeks, Rachel and Genelle have visited The January Furniture Show and The Spring Fair.

Our Design Manager Genelle shares a few trends that she spotted at the shows.

We visited two great shows! Everyone was buzzing, both were very busy and at last, felt like it did pre-covid.

Grey, which we have seen for many seasons, now seems to be being replaced by muted colours. Greens, pinks and terracotta shades appear to be the most dominant along with lots of textures in fabrics such as boucle, tassels, faux fur and velvets, making a very bohemian vibe throughout both shows. Natural wood is making a comeback, not only in furniture but lamps, mirrors wicker pendant lighting and accessories.

The classic monochrome palette of black and white also featured very strongly, from accessories through to furniture.

Brushed brass is still very much on trend in all aspects of interiors with chrome taking a step into the wings for now.

It was lovely to see the colour coming back but if colour furniture really isn't for you, adding just a few colourful accessories to your home can add a different dimension.
